At World of Fun, our preschool students receive the Exceed Program curriculum. Exceed is a theme-based curriculum that allows the children an opportunity to explore in a developmentally appropriate manner.

Included in the program are lessons in language and literacy, math, science, cultures, music and art. There are also music and movement experiences to aid in the development of gross and fine motor skillls.

Parents enjoy the weekly communication that this program provides, as well as the unit assessments that inform them about their child’s progress along the pre-kindergarten and the preschool curriculum continuum.

6:30 – 9:00: Daycare activities:
Welcome to the day! (May include center time, quiet activities, small motor activities, sports, and outside play.)

8:45: Pre-K Program:
Free Play as we welcome non-daycare students.

9:00: Clean-up

9:05: Circle time
(Calendar, days of the week, weather, and letter of the day.)

9:25: Learning Centers
(Math, science, literacy, manipulatives, blocks, creative play, art.)

9:50: Potty/Hand washing

10:00: Snack

10:15: Outside Play

10:45: Story/Sharing/Music

11:15: Learning Centers
(Math, science, literacy, manipulatives, blocks, creative play, art.)

11:45: Dismiss Preschool Children
(Potty and hand washing for daycare.)

12:00: Daycare: Lunch

12:20: Outside play

12:50: Story/Quiet Music

1:00: Nap/Rest time

3:00: Transition from nap
(Wake up, clean-up, shoes, potty, hand washing.) Music, story, or alternate activity to join as they are ready.

3:30: Snack

3:45: Outside Play

4:30: Free play in centers
(Manipulatives, blocks, creative play, art.)

6:00: School Closes
